I have dyed my hair a few times in the past and about two months ago i dyed it a realy dark brown. Then this afternoon I went and got this kit and dyed and highlighed my hair. It was called light golden brown, well my hair is still just as dark as it was before I dyed it and my highlights are orange but they were ment to be blonde. I can live with all that but then I saw in the back of my head a white spot and i am not real sure how that happend but now i have to wear my hair up in a pony tale to hide it and i am not sure what to do to fix it.

This is when you find a professional.

This is the hair-care version of "my toilet exploded" when you have to call a plumber.

You will learn the difference between price and value at some point.

You need to just have all your hair dyed dark brunette. For the white spot in back make sure the stylist uses a red filler with the brunette dye, otherwise that spot may turn out a weird color and still not match. If you don't want your hair the dark brunette they will have to strip out the color, not on those light pieces though. Good luck

Get to a salon and they will take good care of you. Do it yourself kits are cheap and quick and almost always disasterous. When you put color on color and then highlights on more color you are never going to get the results of the pretty picture on the box cover. It will definitely be costly to fix your hair, especially if it is long, but I am sure you want your hair back instead of hiding behind a pony tail or hat until it grows out. Good Luck!

you mustn't have a topic appearing some highlights on your hair. on the salon they continually do 2 tactics on my hair formerly i'm performed. go exceedingly easy on the highlights so the crimson gets downplayed and do truly small strands in case you are able to or have somebody else do it for you so which you get all-over coverage. i'm particular it is going to prove great, in basic terms make certain and do a conditioning scientific care or protein spray later on.

I agree with most posts. Seek out a qualified professional. They will be able to counter balance whatever damage you've done and help you get back to your natural color.
Whatever you do, DON'T use a color stripper. I used one once after not being happy with the color I chose. Imagine my surprise as I lifted my head from under the faucet wrapped in a towel and removing it to dry it off, and discovering it was completely WHITE. Yes, color stripper means just that. Strips the hair of color. I felt like such an idiot. DUH!

Sorry this happened to you. I did something similar and went to a salon. She was able to fix the color, but I lost some inches in the process as my hair was damaged. Some things are best left to professionals, I guess.

Best wishes.

go to a colorist after about 3 months. Becuse color cant color color. you cant change it, becuse something about chemicls cant chnge other cnemicals. Its hard to lighten a color to a similar light color.try mixing a toner into your shampoo. Next tyme try not to do the do it yourself color treatments they tend to end in disaster. trust me i learned this from experience.

go to a professional, they may have to use a solution to strip your hair then colour it again ,that's the price you pay for do-it-yourself jobs.
