two to three times a day, I believe.....and I also think 400 IU is enough.

Vitamin E (400 to 800 IU a day) promotes healing. May be used externally once the acute phase has passed and new skin has formed. Higher doses may be beneficial for healing burns

you can apply it as often as you like but, it will not do anything. I am taking from my own experience. get neosporin scar solution instead. it has a silicone base which is proven to work.
