which cd burner programs allow us to take an image from a protected cd(that u can not copy it normally),then write that image file on a cd?

Softwares like CloneCD or CloneDVD are capable of extracting a protected CD image and write it onto another CD. Its been a long time since I used such CDs for my experience is largely on DVDs. But you sure can try and tell me if this works.
