Make your own. I poach pears in red wine and then reserve and reduce the syrup and use it on lots of stuff.

here's my recipe
One bottle Marechal Foch (or other big red)
One cup maple syrup (or honey)
Two cups orange juice
Two sticks cinnamon
Five orange slices

Six pears peeled and halved
Poach at a simmer until pears are tender throughout.
Allow to cool with pears in liquid.
When cool remove pears
Return pot to heat and reduce by half
Serve pears with custard sauce (bird's custard package)
Drizzle with sauce and whipped cream.

This recipe will leave you with about 1 - 1 1/2 cup of wine syrup.
For whatever you want as well as giving you a killer light dessert.
