Ok, your first kiss, you'd tell your best friend about it right! Well i had my first makeout and the guy told me not to tell anyone cause he could get in serious trouble if anyone found out he made me promise not to tell anyone not even my best friend. My best friend thats always been there for me, kept my secrets and shared all of hers. But I promised him so should i break my promise to him or keep it a secret from my best friend?

You need to decide whose trust is more important to you, his or hers. 99% of the time, your friend will always be there but the boy won't. If you trust her and trust that she will keep your secret, tell her. You just told thousands of people, so I think telling her would be okay.
On another note, why would this boy get in trouble? That sounds off alarms.

My opinion... You are only as good as your word. When you made the promise, you should have said, " except my best friend, we never keep secrets." UNLESS, why did he make you promise? Just for making out? Come on!! Let me guess, your a minor female and he is an older 18+ male. If that is the case, the reason isn't because it's a secret, it's because it is rape and now he is probably scared sh*tless. Before you make a promise to keep a secret, make sure you are not coving up a crime.

Keep your secret.
1) Tell your best friend you have a secret but promised someone you would not tell the secret.
2) Don't see this guy again until he gives you 100% explanation as to why he doesn't want you to tell anyone.

You should never break a promise. If things work out with this guy he will have to be like your new best friend. Your other friend should understand this and that some things will happen in your life that it is not right to discuss with other people. Then if you break up with this guy you can tell her. But make sure you swear her to secrecy first!

Why would he get into serious trouble if anyone found out that you made out with him? Does he have someone else? That's the only reason that I could think of. I would tell your best friend. Best friends are sworn to secrecy so it should go no further, besides women need to talk these things through with their BFFs, just don't let it get back to him.

Everyone needs someone to talk to about things. That is how we work things out in our own heads. If your best friend is that good at keeping secrets, then I say share it with her. I would be willing to bet that he has a best friend that he has already shared the secret with. It is human nature. Don't let it eat you up inside.

You should drop your friend hints about kissing this guy. Let her come up with the answer and then you haven't done anything wrong.
Personaly: I'd keep it a secret because friends no matter how close will always knife you in the back, eventualy.
