to different people then does that mean that god means different things to different people? and if so couldn't that mean that all of us in our search for enlightenment could be correct? that each persons concept of heaven and god are unique and true?
and if so there could be more than one path to the same place?

If I wrote a book and ten people read it and each one interpreted what I had written in ten different ways, would each one of them then be right in their understanding of the things I had written? Unless one of them understood my writings in the way I meant them, then all ten of them would be in error in their understanding of my words. The same is true of the Bible. So if the Bible means different things to different people it only means that many are not understanding the words in the way the Author meant them.

While different parts are debated among true Christians, none of us deny that Jesus is the Son of God and there is only 1 way to Heaven.
