Like spaghetti for example, its a common dish here in America. Is this simply because we are Americans or is other countries like this also with some foreign food?

well, the British view curry as a common dish and it certainly isn't english. ;)

To answer your question, no. Pizza joints were few and far between in the UK during the 70s. Now you can't swing a dead cat by the tail without hitting one. Indian and Chinese restaurants have always been quite common in the UK (but make sure that they're not using malted vinegar *before* you order sweet & sour!)

Well my guess is no because America mostly adopted such foods from different countries when their people came here so I guess if you went to Mexico it wouldnt be that common
