I don't care if homosexuality is an abomination according to you. I don't want you coming here to yell at me for mentioning it, so please don't. I'd just like to know why God says it would be wrong for me to love another woman. Is God really not the all-forgiving lord we know him to be? What justifies the statement that homosexuality is an abomination? (And don't say the Bible, because, this just in, it's a friggin' BOOK!) If the Bible really is law, could I read another book and make a religion based off of it? Let's see...Don Quixote... KILL THE WINDMILL!!! I'm sick of people telling me that the friends I have made are worthless scum and going to Hell just because they are different. I hate people who use their faith as a reason to hate people. I hate you. I hate you.

I'm sorry that people have used faith as a weapon of their opinion against you. However, to answer your original question: The Bible says that anyone who has ever sinned, and doesn't get that sin taken care will go to Hell. So that ranges from Liars to Child molesters. Going to the "Friggin' Book" thing: Who is in charge of Heaven? God. Wouldn't he know who can and cannot enter his Heaven? Yes. That's why he has given us the "Friggin' Book". To Help us.

i haven't heard any quotes from the bible about lesbianism being sinful (despite what many christians say), just man on man action. the impression i get is that it's because it would be wasting the man's "seed". same reason masturbation is sinful. also it seems like too much fun in general takes your mind off of the lord which is never considered a good thing. i mean, catholics aren't really supposed to do anything sexual at all unless they are trying to make a baby. that's why contraception is a no no according to the pope. so obviously when you have gay sex you aren't trying to make a baby and i think that is part of it.
it doesn't make sense at all in this overpopulated day and age, but, possibly way back when, when we were trying to fill the earth with good christians and only 2 out of every 6 kids survived anyway it did make sense......or not.

I don't go to church any more, for political and other reasons. I, as a Christian, am not called to judge you but rather to judge myself, lest I be judged. When I read the Bible and see how the world struggles with disease, it becomes plain to me that the only time God has called for the destruction of man overtly has been because of their culture's degraded morality to a point where homosexuality had become the norm. Now in the 21st century, we see that He was actually trying to keep the world alive by pruning the diseased branch. Science has shown us how homosexuality has helped spread AIDS and while that may not be enough of a reason, we need but only look to the news and see our society falling to its knees hoping for a way out. Researchers have become like Gods, with the sick depending on them for their very lives. The societies that God put down like Pompei, Soddom and Gammorah (sorry for the typos) were all abandoning his guidelines for safe and clean human behavior. If He would have ignored these cities, neighboring towns and possibly, the entire world could be "infected" either physically or spiritually. The fact that man has turned his nose at God and does not follow His preceps is why we are asking ourselves these questions. Had we all kept His word, we would not have these problems. Don't worry, God loves you and He wants you to know Him personally. Don't forget, we are currently living on the great test tube in the sky. This planet was handed to Lucifer to rule for a time, so that all of heaven and earth will understand why God should be praised. He loves you and won't make you worship Him during your lifetime. To prove it, He gave you free will, to do as you please. But please heed His warnings.
...and I wouldn't trust your soul to anyone but Him. You read His word for yourself. Don't let someone else try to explain it to you.

No matter what color his robe is....

Everybody chill!!!!!!!!!!!! Look, someone else's words hurt your feelings, is this correct? If you are so worried about it, and these individuals are so rude, why don't you ask someone to explain or check it out for yourself? Never mind, it's just a Book to you. Well if it's not in the Bible then frankly it's just someone's opinion, isn't it? Whether you admit it or not, you are scared. And yes God does forgive sins, but He can't do that if you don't ask Him to come into your life and accept Him as your Saviour. And once you've done that, God expects you to repent=turn away from sin.
And yes, people will mess up, and they must repent=turn away from sin. But there must be a sincerity in your heart. If you are not sincere, then what was the point? And yes, that's in the Bible. IF YOU WANT TO DISCUSS CHRISTIANITY THAT WILL COME UP! LOL.*********for Mac Momma=Hey, we're dead to the law, no more stonings, and pigs are okay (see: the vision God gave Peter about unclean animals)

Well, Miss Queen Bee the Bible is GOD's word, he said that
no man shall lay with another man it is a sin. That being said
he also gave a list of Commandments that are another list of sins. And to everyone who wants to quote the Bible let he who is without sin cast the first stone. Sin is sin no matter which sin it is. It is offensive to our GOD. That being said no sin is greater than another in GOD's eyes, it just another thing we are not
suppose to be doing. That is why Jesus came to earth to
teach us about GOD. And He also came to forgive us for our
sins. He didn't say except for homosexuals. So relax. Some people think that people are already in Heaven but they are not.
The dead will be called first, the living will be raptured into the clouds and Jesus will take us to the new Heaven and new Earth.
And just so you know, Judgement Day is the same day for everyone and GOD has handed that judgement over to JESUS
who was the only man to live on Earth without sin. We are all
born into Original sin which stems from being descendents of Adam and Eve. And JESUS is GOD's SON. But to make it
even more interesting he is really GOD himself taiking on a
human form. And when Jesus is praying to GOD our father
he is teaching us how to communicate with HIM. So do not be
angry about the Bible.. try to learn more about it and the mystery.
GOD loves everyone equally no matter what. Do you think GOD
is happy with terrorist? Or rapists? Or the dreaded pedophile priest? We will all be held accountable for our own actions but if we ask the LORD for forgivesness, he says he will forgive. And I believe HIM. And I believe for all people. And you can't pick and choose different parts of the Bible to believe or not believe.

I don't know of any direct reference from God on homosexulaity, most of it comes from Old Testiment men and Paul in the New Testiment.

God's laws are in the 10 commandments and one say not to commit Adultery, which can mean cheat on a spouse or in broader terms do anything that adulterates.

God told me to go forth, be fruitful and multiple, so God was expecting that.

Jesus was opposed to sex outside of marriage in the form of Fornication and said to avoid it all men should marry.

It is possible all sexual acts not considered a part of making babies inside a state of union between two people could go against God, but this is only indrectly stated.

Ultimately the actions of anyone in life, hetro, homo, theist, atheist, can have a bearing at end of times and the book of life.

Life you life as good as you can.

I just think of it as this God made a man and a woman to love each other and have children. The Bible is a book that hold God's word and its written for a purpose. "These things have been written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God: that ye may know that ye have eternal life...." 1 John 5:13
God Bless!

Nowhere in the Bible you will find if you are gay you will go to hell. God loves us all but he hates the sin and if we choose that sin over what his will is for us then that's where the problem comes in.Also its not just about being gay its also pertains to straight people who have sex outside of marriage. When you think about the results of having multiple partners and other sexual relationships (Aids, Venereal Disease etc), God knows what he's doing.

well, i guess the reason why the bible condems it is because it is not the purpose of god to have a woman with a woman or a man with a man. If he intended the human race to be like that, then he would have made a woman with a penis and one with a vagina. but he didnt. he made man and woman to be united as one and to make offspring. disobeying this rule does not mean that you will go to hell, for there is no such thing and the bible provees it if you want more info. But, it does mean that you will not have everlasting life. i really dont know how you feel but i bet that its a temptation that you must resist if you want to live forever. if you want to change, you can pray to god abou tit and ask him to take that desire out of your heart, because it is satan who has put it there. to resist him, we must ask god for his help. dont give up, for doing this can save your life.

please dont hate me,

just trying to keep one more person alive

Well, the bible DOES say homosexuality is a sin. It ALSO says that it's a sin to toutch the flesh of a pig (no football) and to cut your beard.

Read Leviticus (especially 11 and 21) and Deutoronomy if you want to see why you can have slaves and stone an adulterer to death.

Most christians only follow SOME of these rules. I call them "Buffet-line christians"
