because the idea of a man god appeals to many people who think the idea of a man who just has a message from god is inferior to believing in a man god.
man god beliefs are for people who cannot comprehend a creator without limits.
they want to be able to touch him, see him and have physical proof hes there..
therefore..man gods are really nothing but the tools of weak faiths
they really dont see that only an ordinary man with miracles from God is the person who can speak to the poor and the improvished and the lost. Because God bothered to give him miracles and God chose him from among themselves.

It is hard to believe that Jesus was only a prophet of God because it's simply not true. Jesus was created only in the sense that He took on bodily form. But Jesus very clearly states that He and the Father are one, and in several places throughout Scripture. And if you disbelieve those portions of Scripture, why believe other portions, such as the biblical data you have listed?

Maybe because Jesus said he was God many times in the gospels. Take a look and see what you find. He allowed people to WORSHIP him as God. He forgave people their sins. Only God can forgive someone's sins, not a prophet. When asked who He was by the Pharisees, he answered "I AM" those words are reserved for only the one true God. I don't think you need anymore convincing. Jesus is the Son of God.

God is a title, not a name. It's like calling your boss "CEO" instead of "Mr. Richardson".
Jesus is the son of Heavenly Father (aka "God"). I personally believe that both He, and His Father are gods, along with the Holy Ghost. These are 3 seperate beings, Jesus and Heavenly Father are as seperate as you and your father.
True, Jesus is sometimes referenced as being a prophet, but more common than not He is refered to as the son of God. In my religion it is taught that Jesus was the "Jehovah" of the Old Testament. He was the Savior in the New Testament. He wrathfully punished wicked Israelites physically under the lesser law of Moses, and spiritually punished sinners under the higher law given during His mortal ministry. He stands along side our Heavenly Father as a god.
It probabily seems extremely confusing, sorry

Muhammad might have been a prophet despatched via God, yet Jesus might desire to no longer have been God. subsequently it incredibly is tougher to have self assurance that Jesus is God.FYI, i do no longer locate it perplexing to have self assurance that Muhammad exchange right into a prophet of God.

God shows the truth to whoever he wills. if they just ask themselves "who created Jesus inside his mother womb", they will know the answer right away. that God is God, and Jesus is the prophet that God has sent.

thats because he is god silly. Who created the universe? Who is the god of the old testament? They said he would be born a virgin. Jesus quoted a few stuff himself. That evidently means there's more than one god. God and Jesus christ and the holy ghost, three seperate beings.

Because Jesus stated over and over that He was God. And then, Jesus rose from the dead. Look at the Apostles (all of Jesus' followers...) right? They died for Jesus after Jesus died and rose again. Who would die for a lie unless Jesus actually did rise again. And if Jesus actually rose - everything He said is true. And Jesus said that He was/is God.

Because Jesus, himself said that He was the son of God. If He was not the Son of God, then He lied, and is not worthy of being called even a prophet, because the Bible says if a prophet says even one thing that doesn't prove true, he should be stoned because he isn't from God. So by claiming to be God's son, Christ is either a liar, mentally deranged, or is in fact the son of God.

I don't know why it's so hard for Christians to believe that, either! It's COMMON SENSE, for God's sake! And it makes sooooooooo much sense too, than the mumbo jumbo they believe in. Then when it comes to answering questions, they slither their way out by giving carp sh*it answers, that you know are bunch of made up baloney! Geez!
