You know very little about Jehovah Witnesses, we all have cars.

It's the Mormons that ride bikes.

Why do we drive cars? It's to deliver to you our message of the Kingdom that Jesus talked about when he was on the Earth. Also this message.

One thing Jesus will do when he returns, is get rid of "false religion" along with anyone practicing it.

What is false religion?

Why does religion seem to be at the root of so many problems?
The fault lies, not with all religion, but with “false” religion.

False Religion...MEDDLES IN WAR AND POLITICS: How many religions can you think of whose members engage in war?

False Religion...SPREADS FALSE DOCTRINE: Most religions teach that the soul of spirit is some invisible part of a human that survives the death of the physical body. However, the Bible teaches a different doctrine. “The soul that is sinning, it itself will die.” Ezekiel 18:4 Jesus taught that the dead will be resurrected, an unnecessary action if humans had an immortal soul. Does your religion teach that the soul does not die?

False Religion...TOLERATES IMMORAL SEX: Church groups ordain gay and lesbian members of the clergy. What, though, does the Bible teach? It plainly states: “Do YOU not know that unrighteous persons will not inherit God’s kingdom? Do not be misled. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men kept for unnatural purposes, nor men who lie with men.” 1 Cor. 6:9,10 Do you know of religions that condone immoral sex?

How to identify true religion.

True Religion...PRACTICES LOVE: True worshippers are “no part of the world,” are not divided by race or culture, and display “love among themselves.” Rather than killing one another, they are willing to die for one another.

True Religion...TRUSTS GOD'S WORD: Instead of teaching “tradition” and “commands of men as doctrines,” true religion bases its doctrine on God's Word, the Bible

True Religion...STRENGTHENS FAMILIES AND UPHOLDS HIGH MORAL STANDARDS: True religion trains husbands to “love their wives as their own bodies,” helps wives to develop “deep respect for their husbands,” and teaches children to “be obedient to their parents.”

True Religion is available, search for it.

You're thinking of Mormons, not JWs, at least not in the U.S. I imagine that in many countries, they use bikes, as fuel is not readily available, or even roads for cars to drive on. I remember seeing photos about the building of a Kingdom Hall that required the packing in of building materials, on horses.

Of interest, this reminded me of an elderly couple I knew as a youth in the San Marcos (CA) Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. They never owned or drove a car. They went everywhere, within reasonable range, by bicycle. He was a retired West Union Messenger (no, not Yahoo! Messenger), delivering telegraphs. She was a retired telegraph operator. In their 90s, they could ride circles around any young person, on their three speed bikes. I'm not sure how San Marcos is now, but back then, it was rural and a lot of high hills.

The one thing I really remember is that they were vegetarians, and use to make this type of candy made from dried fruit paste, dried on a large piece of plywood out in the sun. These days you can buy it at any store. Its called Fruit Rollups.

Sorry, just a bit of a sentimental journey.

So-called "Latter-day Saints" are best known for bicycling between visits during their ministry.

While the Mormons' work should embarass other so-called "Christians", the fact remains that there is no group anywhere among Christendom or any other religious tradition which is performing a work even remotely comparable to the scale of Jehovah's Witnesses' global ministry.

(Mark 6:6-11) And [Jesus] went round about to the villages in a circuit, teaching. 7 Now he summoned the twelve, and he initiated sending them out two by two... 11 And wherever a place will not receive YOU nor hear YOU, on going out from there shake off the dirt that is beneath YOUR feet for a witness to them.”

(Luke 9:1-10) [Jesus] called the twelve together... 2 And so he sent them forth to preach the kingdom of God... 6 Then starting out they went through the territory from village to village, declaring the good news... 10 And when the apostles returned they recounted to him what things they had done.

You're thinking of the young Mormon missionaries. They ride bicycles because they are economical. These missionaries are on a two-year mission at their own expense. They, and sometimes their parents, fund the mission they selected. The Church provides automobiles in certain built-up areas only. Even then, missionaries are limited on monthly mileage.

Elders from each ward assist the missionaries by taking them in their own vehicle, especially when the missionaries must visit single or unattached women where there is no man in the house.

The Jehovah's Witnesses and Mormons are both in a cult. They have that in common. They have no clue who Jesus really is. It is pretty sad.
