Grapes are harvested from the mother plant, the grape vine. The grape vine is propigated through cuttings taken from other grape plants. Through breeding the desiered characteristics between different grape vines the breeders have been able to grow grape vines that do not produce seeds in the grapes. But the grandmother plant would have produced seeds.

you must get a cutting from a grape vine. you may be able to purchase a plant at a nursery, but it's very easy to "root" a cutting. simply cut a piece off the vine (optional root enhancer can be used) you may either root in water or very moist nutrient rich potting soil. however realize it may be years before the plant is large enough to bear fruit.
