Maybe. In that case I must be insane for the past 40 years.
Seriously, how many people in the world belong to one religion or another? Are the majority insane?
Insanity is caused by chemical imbalances, generally. These chemical imbalances cause delusional thoughts. The delusion will be based on what the person has lived and known throughout his life. If he has lived in a religious home, he will have religious delusions. If he has heard a lot about the Apocalypse, he will see the Beast and the False prophet all over the place.
If he has been brought up in a strongly politicised home, he may have plitical delusions. If he has been brought up in a home that made a lot of historical figures like Napoleon or some other, the he may imagine he is one of those people.
So the insanity is not caused by the background. The insanity causes delusions that feed on whatever background you have.

Religion does not breed insanity, but can provide an excuse to behave like insane people. For something to breed insanity, it implies that people are just helpless when faced by it, have no brains to evaluate it and are in effect passive. We can not blame our actions or inactions on religion, advertisement, propoganda etc. We have to take responsibility at some point.

In thsi onth of Ramdan which is ending very shortly Muslims read the same Quran all over the world. As the God Who created us and provided ncountable blessings is merciful so He showed us the right and the straight path ot happinsess and succes

Yes, plain religion does. But a relationship with Jesus does not. A relationship with Jesus breeds maturity, accountability, love, caring, giving, integrity and many other positives. Religion is just following a bunch of rules and seeing who can appear to be the most important amoung peers. This stinks and is not from God! Follow Jesus and you can't go wrong.....

Sure. All types of religion can make someone insane. The best religious persons keep their head on straight and focus inner peace.
