Does or did anyone ever have a pet that they felt was their best friend or part of the family. I had Peaches (dog) since I was 11 and she just recently died. I'm 26 now, but I miss her every now and then. She was more of a sister than just a friend, I used to talk to her and do stuff with her like she really was my sister, I even gave her a middle name!

I've had many pets and I remember everyone of them. It's so hard to lose a friend. Sorry you lost yours.

I had a dog as I was growing up and his name was Tony...He was getting too old and we had to put him to sleep...It was the most horrible moment of my life..I had so much memories with him...He was like a best friend because he was always there through all the times I was sad, mad, and happy. It's good to have an animal friend that you can talk to because it feels likes they are actually understanding every word that comes out of your mouth..
