Why are you so scared? Why aren't you able to just say
"I don't like you?" Is it because you don't want to feel bad, to feel any guilt? It would be less guilt if you just told us in the first place! Why can't you say it?

It's just not something that we guys can say easily. I mean, yeah, we can say "I don't like you", but we also think that what if that girl told others... then our rep with girls would go down the drain. So, more over, we want to think that we can do better.. but when a girls asks you out... it's just hard to say no, because you also feel really bad on the inside...

Most guys don't want to be jerks believe it or not. I treat people the way I want to be treated. If a girl doesn't like me, then I would like to know without any games, so I treat girls the same way, but that's just me.

some people have fears of confrontation. This is not just a male gendered thing though. some people, in order not to hurt feelings, will tell small lies to save a persons feelings.
