You are the best grandmother anyone could ever ask for,
when we had so little, you always made it more,
your in our hearts threw out every day,
you was so full of life always wanting to play,
what happened, your gone, we're all so crushed,
ashes to ashes dust to dust,
I wish you was here with us still alive,
but your life ended without us getting to say goodbye,
from your first smile to your last breathe,
we'll remember you in life as you will wait for us in death.

now I modified this for ur grandmothers sake but it is copy righted so u cant try to pass it off as ur own. good luck and sorry bout ur grandmother.

Funeral Poems Grandmother

I had a similar problem recently, when I lost my great-grandmother and was asked to give her eulogy. I was going to read a poem, but then decided it would be far more personal to share some of my favourite memories of her. Talk about her little habits, things that make you smile when you remember her. Ask other members of the family what their favourite memory is and include that. I am so very sorry for your loss, I know how you are feeling right now. One little tip, when you are reading out your speech or poem, take your time - it will be tempting to rush through it but don't. Try and stay calm, take a few deep breaths and remember how proud she would be of you.
Wishing you all the very best.

The best way to get back your ex is https://tr.im/Jroom

Here's the hard part: Pretend she never existed, like it was all a dream, don't call her, that will make you the smaller person, be the bigger person since you deserve better, what she did to you on Valentines Day was immature, especially after dating for four years. This person wasted allot of your time and through it out the window. Go out tonight, even it it is only yourself, don't drink and call or feel sorry for yourself, this will only cause you embarrassment! I know your hurting..This will eventually will go away in time. Today is not a good day for you and your emotions are spinning all over the place.

Please, whatever you do, don't answer her calls and don't call her. If she keeps calling, which she pro bally won't, don't return her call for 5 days. Make her sweat and DO Not get back together right away if you discuss this in 5 days. Tell her since she Broke up with you, you have done allot of thinking, and had the taste of "being single again" and you would like more time being "friends" for now, so you are sure you are making the right decision. Remember "She decided she didn't want to be with you" so the door is open for you to get out and see what you have been missing for four years. You honestly need to do this for yourself.

She doesn't know, but what she did was give you the best valentines day present you will ever get! A new start and a new beginning, use it to your advantage. You will look back on this and Thank God this happened now instead of 4 more wasted years of YOUR life. Today does suck, stay Strong and I promise you your life is going to be so much more exciting and you are going to be happy. If you continue to call and call her, she will think of you as needy and won't want you. She is going to rethink what she did to you today and will be hurt, if you act like you could care less. Girls always want the ones they can't have. That is who you are now to her. Let her suffer, realizing what a mistake she made. This will drive her crazy. Right now she is on cloud 9 thinking you will take her back, OH, is she stupid!

Your life isn't ruined, hers is..She lost someone special, and gave you a gift to let to live life and find someone you deserve. You are not getting back at her, your teaching her what an idiot she is and what she lost and what you gained without her. SO when You eventually talk to her, tell her thank you for what she did...
She will be hurt and you will be happy!

I am sorry for your loss...instead of a poem, why not write a few words about your grandmother, memories you have of her and how you feel about her....or try this one....

You can shed tears that she is gone
Or you can smile because she has lived.
You can close your eyes and pray that she will come back
Or you can open your eyes and see all that she has left.

Your heart can be empty because you can't see her
Or you can be full of the love that you shared.
You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday
Or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday.

You can remember her and only that she is gone
Or you can cherish her memory and let it live on.
You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back,
Or you can do what she would want:
smile, open your eyes,
love and go on.

my thoughts are with you and your family at this sad time xxx

I read this at my dad's funeral I think it is beautiful it's written as if the person who has died is trying to help you understand.

Death is nothing at all

Death is nothing at all
I have only slipped away into the next room
I am I and you are you
whatever we were to each other
that we still are
call me by my old familiar name
speak to me in the easy way
which you always used
put no difference in your tone
wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow
laugh as we always laughed
at the little jokes we enjoyed together
pray smile, think of me, pray for me
Let my name be ever the household word
that it always was
Let it be spoken without effort
without the trace of a shadow in it
Life means all that it ever meant
it is the same as it ever was
there is unbroken continuity
why should I be out of mind
because I am out of sight?
I am waiting for you
somewhere very near
just around the corner
All is well

I am so sorry about your grandmother. :( It is beautiful that you are writing a poem about her. It could go something like this: Your heart is pure gold Your presence is treasure It'll be hard with you gone but I'll remember you forever There's a gap in my heart but I'll always have memories But when I think about your absence I could cry for centries But the worst thing about you leaving And it saddens me still Is that I never really knew you And now I never will Sorry if it is short. I really hope this helps! Good luck!

Grandmother your heart has inspired me so many years and now I have had to part the way with you going on before me and I will now live my life carrying all the goodness and joy and wisdom you have managed to bring to me even though I was not always listening to you I remember the feelings that were in your heart while you were with me and they will make me strong as I go on from here to live my life remembering you with love and mercy and appreciation which I cannot explain to anyone nor should I have to. You have brought a special breath of life and understanding into my heart which will remain with me until I, also, will come to join you once again on the other shore and until that day comes I will live my lilfe manifesting the values and lessons you have managed to convey to me even without my knowing. You will always be the most important person I have ever known because you were the one person who loved me unconditionally in a way which transcends language and for that I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Amen.

Try taking something from this:

A woman of valor, who can find? Far beyond pearls is her value.
Her husband's heart trusts in her and he shall lack no fortune.
She repays his good, but never his harm, all the days of her life.
She seeks out wool and linen, and her hands work willingly,
She is like a merchant's ships; from afar she brings her sustenance.
She rises while it is still nighttime, and gives food to her household and a ration to her maids.
She considers a field and buys it; from the fruit of her handiwork she plants a vineyard.
She girds her loins with might and strengthens her arms.
She senses that her enterprise is good, so her lamp is not extinguished at night.
She puts her hand to the distaff, and her palms support the spindle.
She spreads out her palm to the poor and extends her hands to the destitute.
She fears not snow for her household, for her entire household is clothed with scarlet wool.
Bedspreads she makes herself; linen and purple wool are her clothing.
Well-known at the gates is her husband as he sits with the elders of the land.
Garments she makes and sells, and she delivers a belt to the peddler.
Strength and splendor are her clothing, and smilingly she awaits her last day.
She opens her mouth with Wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue.
She anticipates the needs of her household, and the bread of idleness, she does not eat.
Her children rise and celebrate her; and her husband, he praises her:
"Many daughters have attained valor, but you have surpassed them all."
False is grace, and vain is beauty; a God-fearing woman, she should be praised.
Give her the fruit of her hands, and she will be praised at the gates by her very own deeds.

I am sorry for your loss. I am going to a funeral myself on Monday. There is a lovely poem called 'What is Dying' by Bishop Brent. You should find it below.
