I dreamed that I was talking to my mom, and all of a sudden, instead of mom, it was Jesus. So I kneeled before him and admired him so much. And then he turned back into my mom again! Mom was asking me why was I admiring her so much, and I said I was trying to worship Jesus. They kept switching back and forth, from mom to Jesus, and from Jesus to mom.

strange, huh?

I would ask yourself this...is there anything about the way you view your mom, or perhaps more accurately, about how you feel regarding how she views you, that may be hindering your worship of Jesus? For instance, do you feel called to do something or just to be more passionate about worshiping God and worry that your mom might see you as kind of crazy, etc? (and so are you more concerned with how your parents see you than how God sees you?) I know many people struggle with responding to God's calling in their life because they are worried about what their parents may think of them. I would encourage you to explore this possibility, if indeed God is trying to reach you....for it may not only bless you but also your entire household! God Bless....

I think your dream was a product of your thoughts. You probably admire the christian character of your mom? You feel that she represents Jesus well? That would be good. But be careful not to put her on a pedestal in Jesus' place. If you do she will fall off and you will both be hurt.
And you will be hurt in your faith as well. Make sure the difference is clear in your mind and heart. Appreciate the Christlikeness your mother shows, but realize that, like the rest of us, she has feet of clay. Imitate the good, set aside the bad.

Do you keep a dream journal? It's not a bad idea if you dream alot. Sometimes reoccuring symbols, such as your mom, will indicate the same thing from dream to dream. In my dreams, my mom is usually symbolic of the Church, and my dad is usually symbolic of the Father. It can be different for each person though.

Hoping the best for you...

I do not find it strange at all that you had a dream about Jesus. I believe the Lord is trying to speak to you. I remember hearing about a Muslim who had a dream about Jesus for seven years and after the seven years, he became a Christian. Like that, no questions asked.

I think that we all need Jesus in our lives and I hope that you are open to his presence. He has changed my life in ways I have never known and every day, he's sweeter. I think of all the turmoil in the world and I know that Jesus is going to come back one day and right the wrongs of this world. In Psalms 27, it says, "When my mother and father forsake me, then the Lord will take m up." How wonderful to know that when our family gives up on us, He's willing to take us in.

I hope and pray that you take time to seriously think about it. No matter what people say, time is running out. God is not going to let the evils of this world go unpunished. Nor is he going to continue to let people try to kick him out of his world.

God bless you.

Is it because you admire your mom very much - and see Jesus in her?
Seems like a nice dream.

actually very common. We gain our abilities to form a relationship with God (at first) from our parents. Have a Dad you can not trust it will be harder to trust Jesus, if your Dad abandoned you then problem believing at all. Mom has similar effects on one so they are in a way connected if only in your mind, and so this shows up in your dream life.

Maybe it's saying you shouldn't let anyone distract you from worshipping Jesus.

Maybe the dream was more about your mother and how you feel about her, than it is about Jesus.

The meaning of this dream is that you have confusion regarding who or what it is you are worshipping.
