I think and dream in both English and Spanish; Spanish is my first language. I remember a teacher in a University class telling us that to answer which language was stronger in our life we should think in an opportunity when something happen suddenly and think about what language we had used to curse! this one is your first language since it's the one you use automatically!

I think in both English and Spanish.
I am fluent Spanish speaking. Even when I dream, I might dream in Spanish if the dream includes Spanish-speaking people. And about half of the people I know are Spanish-speaking.
Howver, my native language is English and I do thknk a lot in English. However, I also think a lot in Spanish. I usually think in concepts or phrases, whether they be in English or Spanish.
By the way, I can speak a bit of French but never think in French. I can read Italian and Portuguese and sometimes even begin to think in these languages, but not very often.
For your information, I am half-Korean but do not speak Korean except for a few phrases.

I can speak two languages fluently, understand a third one while somewhat being able to speak it (i've been around it my whole life, though), and am learning a fourth, which is probably why my thoughts are abstract and not in a certain language.

My thought process is abstract in the form of visions/scenes rather than verbal. When it comes to certain issues, thoughts are in the language most suitable to the context and usually has words or phrases which express the thoughts more precisely.

Many think in their native language, many think in spatial relationships, many even think in numeric algorithms, and some even think in a combination of these cognition's. It's called knowledge and wisdom. The mindset of humanity in their singular passionate efforts toward understanding.
