I notice that girls tend to say they like a nice caring guy, but yet they only go out with the good looking jerks, and then complain about how that guy was a jerk.

Well, that's their own fault, complain and cry about how horrible he is...but he's hot! Like that really matters? The that guy whose shoulder they cry on always ends up finishing last.
It's the same story over and over:
Jane loves John, whose good looking.
Jane and John have sex.
John got what he wanted and forgets Jane exists except when he's horny, treating Jane like garbage.
Jane goes crying to Jimmy, who is not quite as good looking but doesn't hurt your eyes either, whose been there every night and day and truly loves Jane for what's inside her heart and not between her legs.
Jimmy curses John under his breath trying to win Jane's heart.
Jane lacks the low level of intelligence it takes to realize that John isn't worth the air she breathes and that Jimmy would probably love her more than John ever could.
Jane gets pregnant and John has to marry her, they live unhappily ever after whilst Jimmy meets Marie and they fall in love and live happily ever after.
Jane then realizes she was wrong and wishes she had realized Jimmy was the one for her earlier on in life.

Personally, I choose the personality over the looks. I want someone that cares about me vs the great looks the other person has. Not all good looking guys are jerks, there are not so nice looking guys that are horrible too.

It's not about being good looking vs. average, or "nice guy" vs jerk. It's about being fun, interesting and not boring her to death. Believe it or not women appreciate a challenge. Sometimes what a nice guy perceives as jerk behavior is really just a man standing up to for himself. If you can make her feel good and keep her guessing in a fun way she will choose you over any good looking player jerk.

First its looks but if they have a bad personality we usually let them go. We complain cause most of the good lookin guys are jerks and the not so yummy guys are nice.

Some girls are more attracted to looks but me personally am attracted to personality and spiritual life. I like to have a good Christian man who is always going to church when he can and always being a true sweetheart and I have just the man right know and I am hopeing we stay together. He is cute and has a good personality. But just follow your heart if the guy is ugly and your heart is telling you to go out with him then do it don't wait because he could be your only chance in a lifetime. I hoped to have helped you whoever you are.!!!!!!

First it's looks then hopefully the guy has a personality too. Mostly we go for looks, I don't know why cuz most good looking guys are jerks with no personality!

Women are attracted to both. While good-looking guys will get a woman's attention quickly, a guy with personality can win over a woman just as well, it just doesn't happen as quickly. In the end, whether you have looks or a good personality, you are going to be attractive to women. So guys who are not drop-dead gorgeous should not despair.

Personality!!! My crush is not all that cute...but he is super smart and really nice to little kids and fun to be around. Also he's in Tae Kwon Doe, an amazing artist/musician, and he wants to be a veterinarian. Talk about talented. He's really overlooked but I can tell he'd be an awesome husband/dad :) Oh and by the way, you can find yourself attracted to someone (even if they're not very hot) just because they are nice to you and stuff.

Let's be honest- Who would date someone that they didn't find the slightest bit attractive? No many. I say looks are somewhat important. Personality is really key though. The mistake I have made was going out with guys that I found attractive and then realizing that they lacked personality and were nothing but trouble. But hey, you learn from your mistakes.

Girls are attracted to looks. Trust me, it does change in accordance to the advancement of a woman's intelligence. As a girl matures, she realizes that even men's looks change as they age. Personality is basically maturing too, but it doesn't alter. It matures too, enriches. Girls will go out with real jerks. But wise women see real men with valid character traits as a true prize. And ...you would be surprised how hansome these men become, not just to the women who chose them, but to the women who chose the wrong, jerky men with the coverboy looks.
