As long as she is 18, it's fine. Sometimes when you really love someone, age is of no importance.

It all depends. Age difference when their somewhat older altogeter is a lot different than an 18 year old and a 35 year old. I think it is really rare to find this age pattern in for the long haul. It might be short term. The girl has not matured into adulthood yet and has a lot to confront. The 35 year old has already been through that. So, on most counts I would say it is a short term relationship. It could last but as I said, those are rare in that age bracket.

I dated and married a younger woman.

It's benficial to both I suppose. My wife doesn't have to deal with the nonsense I accomplished in my twenties. Here I'll list them:

What I accomplished in my twenties.
- finished school, so I had no time for a relationship. Sex yes, relationship no.
- Then starting a career and dealing with the bumps in the career without using someone else as a hedge.
- Hit the strip club and drank with my friends until about four in the morning, every Friday and Saturday (unless I had a date)
- Learning who the hell I was. Everyone has to do it sooner or later. What if you grow up and discover you're a prick? Or you're gay? Or you would rather spend quality time with cats? You just don't know.

Trust me, as much as women like to think men go easy. They don't.

What she get out of it.
- Someone finished whoring and drinking
- Gave up the beer can collection for an art collection and a business.
- Someone established, as in money/house/car that's paid
- Someone interested in building something with someone.

What I get out of it.
- A nice piece of ***.
- Some good looking kids
- Thee's more but it doesn't come to mind right now. ;)

If you're worried, then it means that you're not sure and should rethink the situation. If it isn't you dating an older guy then you should stay the hell out of other people's business.

I don't really think age matters except when one person is under like 20 because sometimes they are not mature enough and the person who is way older should understand that, but only those in the relationship know how mature they are and what they want. If they want to work out a relationship, it will work.

who works with a guy?you mean, she works for a living?if that's the case, what's wrong working when you're only 18 yo?maybe that girl really needs money for herself in order for her to survive.remember, life is a survival of the fittest..but the girl is taking a big risk in here if no body is with them except themselves.if the girl works in his house, that would be another thing.i guess the girl needs to work, but she has nothing to turn to except that guy that she knows.it's too bad for her because she's so young to explore into that kind of avenue in life.the girl still needs guidance for she might not be aware of what she's doing.i pity her.i i wish i could talk to her.i would tell her that she's pretty much young to be involved into something serious in life.at her age,she should be studying yet...and all.it's kinda sad to know if that guy is only taking advantage on her situation.and if what you're saying is true, well,i don't think that what they're trying to achieve will succeed.the man should somehow realize that..perhaps he could help out,but not to the extent of considering her as a gf or a partner in life.

I used to go out with much older men. The last one was 58 and I wa 29. I know - eww. But he had old fashioned manners and was established. He treated me well and that was a refreshing break from all the young guys with no money and too much attitude.
But then it felt like I was in the movie Cocoon and it stopped being fun. We weren't compatible enough to stay together for long.

well...depending on where you live.there's going to be one obvious wall..the age of majority...most states, you need to be 21 to get into a bar...in a lot of Canada..its 19...some provinces have 18 as legal drinking age. this is just the first hurdle. the generation gap may have an issue and most of society will thumb their noses at anyone that age dating a teen. But to each their own....

It is actually good, men are behind women in maturity, so the age helps that. and men really don't care about anything except sex until around 30...so yes go for it....

I would advise that 18 year old to look for some one close to her age for allot of reasons. The best is like taking old-old-apple over a fresh new apple.
