I actually prefer a good sangria - bruschetta is a nice appetizer to go with it.

Tonight my favourite is a modest Primitivo from Italy.
Primitivo, BTW, is from the same grapes as a Zinfandel. But lighter and fruitier.
Tomorrow I'm thinking of d'Arenberg - The Laughing Magpie Shiraz / Viognier
Whatever wine fits my mood and the personality in charge is my favourite.

Merlot?! Are you kidding? Italians make the best, hands down, or anything Yellow Tail, except Merlot.

Charbono.
I like Merlot a lot too, and it is readily available, unlike Charbono, so I drink more Merlot.

Mine would have to be Brown Brothers Muscato because I prefer sweeter whites, and it's usually reasonably priced.
As far a snacks, I like it with a nice cheese platter while chatting with friends. Real classy!
