Of course it's important! One guy was asking a question about something (computer question I think) but his spelling and grammar were so poor, I couldn't for the life of me figure out what he was trying to ask. It came as no surprise that nobody had answered his question (apart from the ones pointing out his spelling mistakes etc)

Do you actually know what pessimistic means? Look it up in a dictionary or thesaurus.............it's a bit out of place isn't it.

Hi Nelly, irony can be funny; some people obviously don't understand it. Like those who wrote the last few comments.

Hey Chinrasu, you're weird. I bet you just stumbled across that little pearl of wisdom and have been trying to find out where it would fit the best......not here buddy.....try elsewhere and remember......

Two glass tumblers were kept on a table. One was filled with water up to its brim. The other one was only half-filled. Those glasses were shown to me first. I said: "One is full with water and the other one is half-filled". Then Ms. Smelly Nelly who is a pessimist (one who looks too much on the dark side of things) was asked to comment. Smelly Nelly : " One glass is full;another one is half empty"!

Owing to spelling mistakes or grammar mistakes or for want of appropriate punctuation marks, if you are not able to understand, report abuse and click on to 'Not Comprehensible'. Period.

In this informal forum, always expecting the answerers to consult Thesaurus/Dictionary, etc., and to use chaste English/ immaculate grammar, etc., I am afraid, is too much ..... rather three much!

Probably because children are not penalised for grammatical errors or spelling mistakes so they do not think they are important.

also, 'youngsters of today' do a lot of txt (sic!) stuff and ignore lots of letters, which does not help with spelling.

(mind you, my spelling sometimes goes totally awry when I get my fingers on the wrong keys!)

And people do not use things like spell check!

Please make sure your spelling is correct, too! surely it should read:
Y z teh spelllin punkchewashun n gramur sooo bda in them kweschuns an ansers?

When people were once students, they spent class time making paper airplanes and writing love notes to their heart throbs. Their teachers told them to pay attention and that they would need the information they were teaching one day. However, the boys believed that they would be famous athletes and that school served them no purpose. The girls believed that they would be famous singers or marry rich men, so they didn't pay attention either.

Too much IMing and not enough studying makes kids dumb*sses.
And what's with mixing caps and lower case and numbers? It's driving me nuts.

bekoz it is not a speling kontest; people probably want to post their questions quickly; and as long as they are understood, why should anyone care.
