It Depends On How Thick Your Hair Grows But Tattoo's Do Look Different When Hair Is Grown Over Them, If Your Hair Is Quite Thin Then When It Grows Over The Tattoo You Should Still Be Able To See It Without It Really Effecting What Is Looks Likes But If Your Hairs Thick Then Just Try And Keep Your Hair Short In That Area, Or Just Have The Tattoo Somewhere Less Hairy.

Both are major but a belly button ring can close up. A Tattoo is forever. The butt skin maybe a little sensitive.

i would get a tattoo over a piercing any day, but that is my preference.
as for a tat on your butt? no i wouldn't, as you get older your but is one of the places on your body that can go from small to big and back again, so that wouldn't look too pretty after a couple kids and a few diets. the gain will stretch it out and it doesn't look the same even if you get smaller again.....
although you can take a piercing out, keep in mind you will still see the hole from it, so you belly button would look funny when you choose to not wear it anymore...and when pregnant you have to take it out and when your tummy goes back down, the hole no longer aligns properly so you wouldn't be able to wear it anyway after that....

I say belly botton cuz if u get a tattoo it can never be taken off, or it can but with loads of money, with a belly bottun pierce it'll grow back see what i'm sayin'

the belly ring comes out if you ever change your mind. the tattoo does not. you could get a spoon tattooed on ur butt though, that would be cool.

I dont think you should get either. You will regret both when you turn about 50. I have one on my back and I hate that I got it. I am only 21

Don't get one on your butt. Anywhere but your butt. Imagine when you are an old lady and you have a tattoo of a tiger (or anything for that matter) on your butt!
