no its not bad but be careful, at his age they only want one thing and dont ever give that up. Its the most precious thing we possess. Save it for someone REAL special, not a boyfriend.

At this age, yes he's too old for you. The maturity bit is great, but as someone else wrote above, guys that age have raging hormones and that's not something that you want to be getting into at 13. When you're 17 and he's 20, you'll be a lot more compatible than you are now.

Three years is not that big of an age difference when two people are over 18. When you are 13 and he is 16, there isn't to much in common.

Looking from the outside, I would say you two shouldn't be dating. His hormones are WAY AHEAD OF YOU. (there are some things hat don't need to be "awakened" until an later age, TRUST ME ON THIS!) Trust me, there is a yr and a half between me and my b/f, and I know his hormones are ahead of me....and that's ONLY a yr and a half....theres a 3 yr diff for you. Plus you two are at diff points in your lives, he's most likely thinking about collage soon, and I'm guessing your not. You need to be careful......for your own sake and his. If your parents approve.....then I guess....on a slim chance....it might be ok.

Yes, that's kind of bad and very weird of him to like a 7th grader...Are you sure he's really your boyfriend or is just telling you that cuz he knows you have a crush and he doesn't really take you seriously?

wow. yea . . . you should probably NOT date him, especially since if he touches you it's not legal. And believe me, i'm sure at some point he's gonna try, cause he's a teenage boy and all they think about is doing "something" You should probably just be a lil more patient with your relationships.
General rule of thumb about age difference is:
take the guys age, divide it by 2 and add 7
so BOY/2 +7 =age the girl should be.

In some cases no but in this case yes. The two of you are at totally different stages. You are still in middle school and he is in high school. You two may last for a while but eventually you will realize that you both are at different stages in your lives. I dated a guy 4 years older than me. I was and still am in highschool (but close to being finished) and he was and still is in college. We both are in totally different stages in our lives and it just didn't work out. It broke my heart and I really miss him but we had to break up for a reason. It's really hard.

If you guys were diffrent ages I would say No. But your 13 and too young to have a bf. Besides, not to be rude, but it probley won't last anyways. Young "love" never does.
