Yes, you will feel alot better about yourself. Who knows, they may even excuse you for your honesty.

No. You must uphold the law without expecting the police to do it for you. That is the adult and ethical thing to do. A 2 ton vehicle is a killing machine and one must be hold themselves responsible every second they are behind the wheel. Use your change signals longer than usual, drive five miles slower, stop for traffic lights and get into an outer lane if you see a police car stopped with lights on.

Well there's illegal and then there is illegal.
If it's illegal to cross our border and enter our country but there are millions doing it. They take their chances getting caught but know that there are more of them than cops. Basically, it's getting to the point where we have to wonder if laws are just obsolete, period.

If they feel that they don't have to obey this law then why should they obey any law? Licenses, speed limits, etc.
Why should the rest of us?
Why don't we just roam over the border ourselves?
Surely if we don't arrest theirs, they won't arrest ours, will they?

Why are you breaking the law in the first place?
No one turns themselves in, but what if they do harm someone and still are not caught! Does that make it Right? Hope they can live with a guilty conscience!

The resposible thing to do would to not have gone over the limit in the first place. But we don't expect illegals to turn themselves in; we know we have to hunt them down to deport them. So really this question has no correlation to the anti-immigration sentiment.

When i find myself speeding, I stop. If I get caught, I don't say that im a hard worker, and should be exempt from the law.

A minor traffic infraction does not equate to entering a country illegally. And you know it,and as a matter of fact no I don't do any of those things,I also don't speed in school zones or run stop signs or park in a handicap spot.I do obey the law.

Or why do we have to have ID's to get jobs, buy cars, houses, or get credit? The illegals get away with not having one, so why do we have to give out all of our personal info and our life story in order to do these things?

The authorities would more then likely have you admitted for observation or escort you out of their office for being a prankster. If it was acceptable behavior to police ones self they would run out of citations.
