Dubai is so beautiful it's not as expensive as Europe or America

Dubai is a great city for a couple to visit, but you should know some stuff before you go. First of all, Dubai is a a city in which something is always being built and there's a whole lot of construction. As such, men greatly outnumber women and you'll find that many of the men are of Indian decent and may not actually be muslim. However, UAE is a strict muslim nation so to be on the safe side, you really should make sure that you cover your hair and don't show too much skin while out on the streets. Many of the high end hotels are filled with western tourists so while there you can certainly feel at home and dress in whatever makes you comfortable. I think that contrary to the public perception of the Middle East, you'll find that a majority of the people are well educated and do in fact speak English well enough for you to communicate openly without being lost in translation. Just make sure you learn a few basic arabic words like: salam alaykom - hello shokran - thank you men fadlak - excuse me Dubai thrives on tourism so you really shouldn't be concerned. Just make sure that your husband takes the lead and make it look like he's the one in charge (driving and all) just because that's what they're used to. Other than that, relax and enjoy yourself and if you get a chance, do visit burj-al-arab and the water park nearby.

I live in Dubai, it is an amazing city, it depends on what you really want to see, because Dubai is a very new city, you cannot find any historic places here, it is full of lovely malls like you have never seen in the world, very nice hotels, great food and beaches, the night life is very nice. and the shopping is great. I think you will enjoy it if you are looking for these things,
It is expensive but not too expensive, if you have a good hotel deal then you should be O.K

Dubai is an amazing city. There is so much to see...The Burg al Arb, The Emirates Mall and all the new construction downtown. I was a little concerned at first about visiting an Arab country but I find it to be very safe and clean. I didn't think that it was too expensive I guess it depends on were you go. I highly recommend Dubai and I am looking forward to visiting again soon!

Dubai is one of the finest fast growing cities in the world! the streets hotels beaches and the buildings in the city is really amazing! It will have the worlds tallest building in the world too! Burj al arab is the signature building in Dubai and its very safe to go there. Prices of a vacation vary as per the hotels you select and now you may do skiing in Dubai too!!

Dubai is safe and yes its very expensive. Although if you go in the summer, they have a ton of sales and its considered their off season and rates for hotels go down. The only down side to that is the heat. Its gets pretty humid there and can reach up to 120+ in the summer.

I've Been There It's The Cleanest, Nicest and most of all very friendly. Yes it is expensive but no worries then say Japan. Just remember that like the Bahama's there are good areas and bad, stay to the south east buy the ocean and you'll have the time of your life

never been, but we researched dubai alot in school, because of all the construction going on there. it's a very safe country. the entire saudi peninsula is safe, as long as you behave...

its a fun city and very expensive
but its all about the buildings and malls theres no greenery there so if your willing to go then go after all its a change
btw Dubai is not in KSA its in UAE
