I mean the attitude is so disrespectful we didn't ask for them,,they asren't doing us any favors America is a nation of humane priciples and we extend a loving arm to the needy and turn a blind eye to the law in the name of Human Rights,,,where do they get off thinking they are being cheated and mistreated,,,,and why do they think that America is a endless pit of money and prosperity,,,It is not,,it could fall quicker than anyone thinks if we adopt the values of these illegals,,,,is it possiblt they will ever see thier wrong,,,I FEAR NOT

well, first of all, it appears that your attitude towards them is disrespectful. They are not all like that. I know many who are very appreciative of everything that they receive here. They work very hard to get what they want. They all know that America pays for hard work, and that is exactly what they need for their families and to live a good life. Just as all americans want the same thing.

Since the Europeans stole the lands from the natives, Mexicans have a God Given Right to enter "America" legally or illegally for they are natives of this place. How do you know that "they" (some assumed homogenous group) aren't thankful? How much time do you spend with undocumented immigrants? What is the basis for your claims about the attitudes of undocumented workers?

Furthermore, how do you know that undocumented workers "aren't doing us any favors"? They strengthen our economy, they often pay our taxes (like Social Security), but do not have access to all of the benefits of citizenship (like access to Social Security).

The undocumented immigrants I have met have been, across the board, extremely thankful for the opportunities they have, have very high opinions of America and American values, and feel a strong need not only to survive (which, by and large, is why people immigrate illegally) but to give back to their host country. Some are, however, disappointed at the hostility that they feel from some Americans who feel as if this land (much of which WAS once Mexico...) is something endowed by god to the white race.

Ive never heard an illegals say thank you America.But I do know many legal immigrants that are thankful for this country.They are fine people that are thankful for the chance to live free and not be afraid every time someone knocks on the door.They work hard and have made great lives for themselves.And not once have they ever disrespect this nation.They are very proud to now be Americans.
