it's really simple.. just before your going to curl your hair, spray the strand your about to curl with hair spray (not to much though).. and then when your done unraveling that strand from the iron.. clip the curl so it last... do this for every curl.. when all done.. take off the clips.. and then do a light spray all over. Your set for the day!

You need to start with really good styling products. And a good hairspray is a MUST. Aveeda Firmata is a great hairspray for holding curl. You also need some sort of styling product that you apply before you curl. This will depend on the type of hair you have. Go to a salon that sells Aveeda products and tell them what you want to accomplish with your hair and they will help you select the best products for you. It's worth the extra time and money.

For me I have really straight thick hair (I'm asian) so I sleep in with curlers when I want good thick curls that don't lose curl even in rain. It works really well.
Otherwise buy a curl mousse or some kind of curl-enhancing product in the drugstore & use a curling iron or heated curlers. The product should help your curl hold for quite some time.

The only way I can make my hair hold it's curl is to use Rave 4 hairspray on each section before using the curling iron. It last all day and no one who knows me ever guesses that my hair is straight.

I have fine short hair. Here it goes:
1. After washing and towel drying I use Textrueline Aeromouse and spray throughout my hair.2. Blow dry with a brush. 3. Curl. 4. I lightly spray my hair 2x with hairspray to set my curls. 5. I use a large pick and a small one with a comb attached. When I pick out the curls the first time, I spray my big pick with hairspray and comb through lightly, then shape. Then follow with another dose of spray.

Use plenty of products. Put a wax on your hair before you curl it and also make sure to use a curl activating product on your hair. After you've curled it, spray it with a strong-hold hairspray. Don't touch your hair. Hope I helped!

After you get out of the shower, blow dry your hair, apply shaping and styling product, curl, then apply hairspray. Don't add to much or it won't bounce or look natural. Good Luck.

you will desire a curling iron. Take a tub, then while it remains damp, placed mousse in it. while it is dry, curl your hair. you're possibly going to could desire to apply hair spray to get it to stay. or you're able to do the comparable technique, in basic terms use sponge curlers instead.
