First of all, we asians do get mad.
But asians are understanding people and have a soft heart. Just tell the truth, be honest and admit your wrong doings, they you'll easily be forgiven.
Secondly, while many asians migrate to other places to find a better life, most of us arent that materialistic. Money is just money. Material wealth are just temporariy satisfaction and it could be gone in a split second.
What most asians need, especially in the US, is acceptance. Most of them have struggled already in their country. While citizens of developed countries find comfort as needs, most asians need is security for their future.
And, migrating to other places is so much stress already, getting mad to other people just would add up to stress.
That's why even though asian people dont have a secured future or constantly worry what will happen to them in their respective countries, most polls/survey consider asian as the happiest people.
I hope you would learn to those asian as how they learn from you guys. Accepting them and not marginalize them would help you alot in many aspects too.
but americanized asian are as emotional as natural americans too. I guess, they just dont have to have stress on their security for their future. Unlike those who really worked hard to go to developed countries.

First of all, you are generalizing a bit. Not “all asian people never get mad.” I’m Asian, my parents are Asian, and trust me, I have been mad before and they have been mad before. However, I’ve noticed that most of the time we are very polite but on the rare occasion we actually lose our tempers, we REALLY lose our tempers. Basically though, full-on confrontation with strangers (especially in public in front of other strangers) isn’t really acceptable in Asian culture. In Japan, people are very polite to one another and bow etc., to avoid tension in such a densely populated area.
The Asian woman you encountered didn’t show anger for what could be thousands of reasons, not just the fact that she is Asian. It might have been her personality- perhaps she is a withdrawn and shy person and blowing up into a confrontation is not her style. Maybe she felt it rude to yell at a neighbor. Maybe she is just a really, really easygoing person and has endured much worse hardship during her life. Maybe she didn’t have to worry about it because of insurance and her husband would pay for it. Maybe she hated the chandelier. Maybe she is a very spiritual person and the destruction of material objects doesn’t seem like a big deal to her.
Personally, if I were in her situation, I don’t think I would have yelled either. I would politely tell them that I expect them to deal with the damages, and if they didn’t listen to me I would just call the police, rather than wasting everyone’s time, including my own, yelling and throwing a fit over something that has already happened.

I think that respect and acting appropriately are very important in most Asian cultures. That's pretty crappy of you to tear someone's house apart.
I also read a question yesterday about a guy who wanted to sue a Chinese restaurant because the owner rushed up to him and started yelling, "You have been heer fo fooow hour! Finish egg wowhl and GO!"
I thought it was pretty funny. The guy did admit that he was there for four hours (who takes that long to eat?) but felt that it was really inappropriate for the guy to rush him like that. Apparently he just lost it, so there is an example of an Asian losing their temper.

In my personal opinion, since for the longest time, Asia, (China, India, Tibet), were mainly Buddhist, they never took to our "ein zwei drei" way of thinking. I wouldn't say they're holding anger, rather, they confront situations and find solutions in a different way than we do.
It's like Yogi Bhajan of Kundalini Yoga said: If you want to refrain from something, refrain when you are young. Youth is the time of life when you can do anything. It is during the time of old age that the bloody wolf declares, "Now I have become a vegetarian," because after losing his teeth he can't hunt anything.
That degree of self control comes from a whole plethora of generations accustomed to this kind of thinking.

i think of you would be able to desire to handle her as somebody case via fact the greater youthful Asians I lived next to partied with loud music and guffawing from 2 am till 5 am interior the morning. the only factor i will think of of is that she is an older lady than your self, and in Asian lifestyle, meaning she is waiting for you to appreciate her via fact she is older than your self. in case you opt for to repair the dating you are able to take her some fruit, and say you're sorry which you ended up having a controversy, and commence over. clarify which you're youthful and decide for to have exciting.

Not all Asians behave that way. She is a rare mature lady like other mature ladies in any countries in the world. People are calm when they are spiritually mature, otherwise they are reasonably or unreasonably mad.

It's basic Eastern philosophy in the teachings of Buddist religions. By venting your anger, you lower yourself. "No person is important enough to make you angry" is an ancient proverb.
