Everyone wants something new and there is so much waste of many useable products. Recycling can elimate some of the things going into the garbage dumps and maybe make some new for others.

latest greenpeace report said that we're using more resources than the earth can produce and give us. If we don't change our development model earth collapse until 2050.
Recycling and save materials and energy is important for this reason.

Cost, saving the dumps, some if it is actually useable immediately, some can be sold like alluminum cans and newspaper.
