Some people have no sense of history. Also in our society, money trumps just about everything (unfortunately).

volkswagen is the national automobile of germany... it isn't exclusively nazi.
the americans held japanese citizens in camps in wyoming, but you don't see japanese people refusing to live there now. some things are associated with a bad thing by accident.
nazism is a punishable crime in germany, and germany has worked very hard to separate itse;f from it's past. if they thought for a moment that vw was a symbol of nazism, they would have axed the company immediately.
like previously stated, he may have no sense of history.

in addition to your comment , you were not putting down germany. your question was about the auto make itself...some people need to lighten up and i agree with your comment...slash is doing the commerical for money...just like the other guitarist in the commercial...there was no disrespect in your question.
