Yes you are confused. Both numbers are low for the glycemic index. Using the 100 point standard that is, there are others who measure it in a more complicated fashion.
Glycemic indexes are good for two general things. You can measure your GL (glycemic load) from a mix of foods in your diet based on serving size, intake share and the glycemic index of the foods you are consuming. If the sugar load (GL) is within bounds of any dietary requirements such as diabetes or some caloric target for your diet, then the GI and GL numbers are useful tools. Second, the glycemic index gives relative choices for the sake of sugar management or managing the effect of the foods you are eating over time. The low GI foods will have a smaller immediate sugar spike and a longer nutritional impact window. Lower GI foods will not put as much stress on the sugar management process and effects. Lower GI foods will likely keep you more full until the next meal.
Again, it is a relative thing. If I have a choice between course-grained bread and fine-ground flour bread, the GI will be lower in the coarse, it is harder to digest so the nutritional impact is spread out over a longer period of time. The idea is not just to consume the lowest GI numbered foods, but in the dietary mix of foods you eat if you have a lot of high GI numbered foods, you might look for lower GI numbered foods to substitute in order to give your body less insulin stresses and avoid the sugar-rush/sugar-blues cycles that affect our moods and energy levels.
It is a suggested tool for maximizing the effeciency and effectiveness of your dietary efforts. It is not a golf game where you try to get the lowest score, sorry.

After the baby is born have the paternity test regardless. If the baby is yours then it's yours. Now that was simple. BUT, if the baby isn't yours then two things can happen, you can accept the child or reject the child. Either way the baby deserves to have a medical history of his biological father and that side of the family. Adopted children are sometimes scoffed at but they are chosen, sometimes fought for and always wanted. That is more than some natural children can say. So what ever you do, what ever you decide, get the kid a medical history of his biological father no matter who that might be.

What are the Benefits of the Glycemic Index?
Eating a lot of high GI foods can be detrimental to your health because it pushes your body to extremes. This is especially true if you are overweight and sedentary. Switching to eating mainly low GI carbs that slowly trickle glucose into your blood stream keeps your energy levels balanced and means you will feel fuller for longer between meals.
Low GI diets help people lose and control weight
Low GI diets increase the body's sensitivity to insulin
Low GI carbs improve diabetes control
Low GI carbs reduce the risk of heart disease
Low GI carbs reduce blood cholesterol levels
Low GI carbs can help you manage the symptoms of PCOS
Low GI carbs reduce hunger and keep you fuller for longer
Low GI carbs prolong physical endurance
High GI carbs help re-fuel carbohydrate stores after exercise
Low GI = 55 or less
Medium GI = 56 - 69
High GI = 70 or more

She is talking about values from the Glycemic Index. They discuss this at the Kimkins Diet site. It was invented by Dr. Mendoza who is diabetic.
Low fat yogurt will have a higher GI value because it's not low sugar, only low fat. Check the ingredients for corn syrup, fructose, tapioca, cornstarch. All very high GI.
You should sign up for the free Kimkins newsletter at their site. That would be good question to ask about.

By GI I am assuming that you mean glycemic index.
Dairy in itself is fairly high in carbs - Most yogurt (even lo fat) has added sugar even if it is in the form of fructose ..
The sugar in yogart are simple sugars, hence the higer GI
ps. if you are interested in losing weight (and, assuming that you are not diabetic), the glycemic is one of the leat important things for you to be focusing on. As long as you try not to eat a carb by itself (ie: without a protein or fat), it won't make a whole lot of difference in your weight loss. ... don't believe the hype

You are probably talking about glycemic index.
Glycemic means "relating to sugar" and low fat means... low fat. Fat and sugar are sources of calorie but they are not the same thing.
By the way, GI is a measure diferent from calorie because it takes into acount how fast that sugar is going to hit your blood as well as the amount of calorie. Hi GI foods are ideal right before exercising and the worst to have before going to sleep.

Diabetes is usually treated through a combination of diet (low sugar), exercise and medications/insulin. Milder cases can be controlled with just diet an/or exercise while more severe cases require meds or insulin as well.

Sorry but your question makes absolutely no sense what so ever. What is a GI? The only GI I know about is
a medical term. It means gestural intestine and I am
guessing at the spelling.
