women are women and men are men. both are human beings and are capable of getting aroused when faced with a beautiful body, whatever size the body parts may be. but the call of their profession dictates that they dont show neither arousal or repulsion; neither amusement or fear; as these could cloud medical judgement, especially in the surgery room.

i come from a family of doctors and i know for a fact that green jokes can run rampant when they see naked bodies but that's about it-- some of them just joke, while other doctors choose to be quiet, no matter how they feel about it. green jokes might not be a nice thing especially if they're dealing with people who are "suffering" about something but it's the human being in us to comment or feel something different when faced with what is supposed to be "hidden" and "forbidden."

I'm not a doctor. But I am a female. And I have seen lots of penises. Emotion? Women don't really get too excited about a "huge" penis. In fact they are pretty scary. You might expect less of a guy with a small penis, but that just gives him a chance to impress you because you are already expecting the worst. Again, this is not my professional opinion, but I've serviced a few and there is no emotion associated with a big penis. It might evoke a little fear (maybe some excitement), but not happiness or sorrow.

Having done a hospital residency, working side by side with physicians, I can tell you that the answer would be a resounding "yes".

Health care professionals love to claim that in a health care setting gender doesn't make a difference. Bullsh*t! Doctors are human beings, and we all know how human beings are.

Besides, I've heard many inappropriate comments about patients' private parts from male and female doctors and nurses alike.

No, when a doctor is seeing a patient, she is only seeing them clinically. The patient's body is like a map. She reads it to determine the course of treatment, if any, she needs to administer.

Not if they're professional. To health care providers, bodies are bodies, we've seen all variations. Nothing is shocking.
