Assuming you are talking about natural sources of fiber like leafy vegetables and whole grains the answer is.....Not really. You really can't harm youself by eating too much fiber. Like you said, you may have some gas and bloating, but in general you cannot have too much fiber.

Just be on the lookout. When you have so much fiber, you can easily become either constipated or have diarrhea...as fiber is a treatment for either one. If you start having trouble with constipation, drink more fluid....if you have trouble with diarrhea, cut back just a hair on your fiber.

Also, a good question is "why are you eating so much fiber?" Some people who are anorexic eat so much fiber because the body doesn't really absorb the nutrients. If this is the case, see a medical professional immediately. Be sure to get the recommended daily allowances of all the different food groups... just eat those that are also high in fiber.

Too much fiber in your diet actually can clog you up pretty badly. It can cause toxic buildup in your colon, which can lead to all sorts of serious problems.

The key is drinking lots of water... it flushes the fiber right through the colon.

If you are eating true fiber like dark leafy veggies, and grains, more then likely not. If you are worried about this, drink more water. However its not uncommon to have allergies to grains and wheat. A lot of people have food allergies and dont even know it.
