Normal healing time for nipple piercings can be 9-12 months, so your ok....some people are longer, some are alot shorter. Mine didn't heal after 9 months and I got tired of it and just took them out. Once theyre completly healed you can stop cleaning them obsessively, but youd obviously clean them like normal when taking a shower.

Maybe your cleaning them to much, that can hinder healing. Try sea salt soaks if youre not now, they work great. Put some sea salt (not epsom, not table) in a small plastic/paper (or any cup you can form to your nipple) cup with hot water (as hot as you can stand it), and put it over your nipple for about 5 minutes.

Don't use neosporin, some say don't use antibacterial soap (some is to harsh) and to just use the sea salt.

You can always go back to your piercer and let him see if its normal or not, and he or she can give you some suggestions.

Hi :) I had a two cartilage piercings (on my upper ear) & they actually took over a year to heal. You may have to wait longer & just keep cleaning them & just wait patiently. One of my friends had her nipples pierced & they caused her a lot of problems for some reason the first time around. See a doctor & maybe he'll have some handy help (maybe there's something you can take to aid healing).

First remove them. The piercing is supposed to be threw the nipple not behind it like your friend said. You really need to take them out and then go get a lawyer, the kind that don't charge you unless you win the lawsuit. But definitely sue. You could be awarded thousands of dollars if they caused you any permanent physical damage. I said to take them out, but you should first take several close-up pics and pics that include your face, as proof that it is you and you may need the pics later to win your lawsuit. I'm sure they won't even go to court. they are probably well insured and they will settle out of court and award you money for pain and suffering, and medical expenses to correct what they did wrong. Feel better and get a good lawyer to get you some serious dollars.

not that I'm an expert but I'd recommend removing the rings and just let them heal. Even my cartilage piercings took only about 6 months to heal.

Are you using sea salt? Then put on a liquid cleaner, then moisturizer. I had one done the end of June and it is looking good so far.
