i wanta good car maybe anywhere from 2000 model to now for a small price and i would like it to be a little more of the sporty type for my 1st car. What is a good way to get a cheap car or where should i look?

Shop on line, I think Ebay has car sales. Go to an auction with $700 or $800. Just take a mechanic with you unless you feel comfortable looking under the hood. Some of the dealerships like CarMax or Auto Nation may have web sites.

Local Auctions, but take someone with you that knows what to look for, some good deals but some very bad one's too. Even salvation Army has auctions however cars are donated and you need someone experinced to tell you if it is a good deal.

Check with your area credit unions and banks for repo's. I got a 2000 pontiac montana van last year with 70,000 miles on it for $1700 cash.

look in your local auto trader or the news paper,not all people trade there old cars in now they sell them strait out,and sometimes you can get a pretty good deal on one if you look real good,and usually there close bu you also so there's not much traveling involved ,good luck i hope this help,s.
