My friend, that I just met last month, would say HI and then he'd give me a looong, warm, comfortable hug. This would happen everytime I would see him. But yet on certain days, he'd pretend that I don't exist. However yesterday, a girl was playing and touching his hair/face, and I walked right passed them (but I didn't see them.) My friend who I was walking with said that he looked sad and that he kept on staring at me.
Is he just a flirt who is playing mind games or what?

He may have liked you but figured you didn't feel the same way and moved on, or he may still like you, but if he's letting some other chick play with his hair, I would be very wary of getting involved with this guy. If you *really* *really* like him, you may want to ask him to lunch or coffee to see what his situation is, but proceed with caution!

Usually if somebody hugs you , it means they like you, I usually shake hands first, then if and when I feel comfy with somebody as a nice person, I hug them.
If or when somebody pretends they don't even know you, maybe what has been built gets cut in half I think, or maybe even less than that. I consider that VERY SERIOUSLY. If somebody does that once, when will they do it again? How would I handle it? Once bitten twice shy. More hesitant to build it or hope if that happens.
If you think somebody is playing games, make sure. Don't risk much 'till you know you have honesty. Real honesty. Some people are NOT even capable of it and can't even imagine what that is.

If he's anything like me he might like another girl but he's just a friendly person.the people in my family are big huge-rs to me a huge is just a way of say in "your a good friend and I'm glad your here" it's not that I'm flirting with them it's just i like every one I'm a very friendly person i have a girlfriend and I've been going out with her for about a year at first she thought i was a flirt to but now she know that every ones my friend and i shake hands with guys and give girls hugs it doesn't mean I'm flirting. and he probably thought you where ignoring him so he thought you where mad at him witch with me i cant stand when any-ones mad at me and it makes me sad . but life's life it will all work out in the end just don't try and make a big deal out of little things.

No... He likes you, If he had a sad look on his face while she was around, yah you go girl. I have several guy friends like that. I do them like they do me. Sometime's speck and sometime's don't... Next time you see him go up to him and give him a hug... In front of her so he will know that you exist. Their just playing the game. Girl you just need to play it bk.

He likes you! And the hugging part is so that he can get a free feel of your breast against his chest. I had a friend that did that to me for years. I didn't think much of it. Right before graduation he told me. We had a laugh about it, but men do what they can to get near them. lol

He most likely likes you, just is afraid of commitment right now.
Try talking to him about more personal stuff. But my friend Travis does not like me but he hugs me when he says hi, so you never really know unless you talk to him about it.

he could be flirting with you, very likely in fact. But it could also be he is just being overly freindly too. I have a guy friend like that.

communication is the key, just talk to him. u never know he may like u.
but u could be right, he might just be a flirt or whatever, SO just talk to him about it if u like him.
