does my TA likes me or?
hi all, i have a problem recently.
i am a undergraduate student, and i am very much attracted to my teach assistant. And I implied him that and told him that i would like to hang out with him,and . I sent him an email address him as "hun" honey, he replied me and that said that it is best we both conduct ourselves professionally.... i know there is rule in university that such affair is not accepted. Today i went to talk to him apologize for being offensive, and he said it is just the rule of the school and requires him to be" professional" and he said he doesn't feel bad at all about my initiation. I am not sure if he is interested in me... he is pretty mature boy and knows what he should do and what he is doing.
he glanced at me in class sometime but when i catch his glance he looks away

Frankly, whether he likes you or not is far less important than the fact that he has explained to you that he must conduct himself in a professional manner. Does it really matter if the two of you like each other when you cannot have any type of romantic relationship? Girl find someone that you can actually date as opposed to someone you can only steal glances at...

From what you say, it does sound like he likes you and you have to wait until the class is over before you can do anything. Remember, if he does anything with you right now, he can lose his study and have to leave the university. Wait until after the class and then see.
I know I have liked my students before, but even as someone who wouldn't be fired for dating them, I would want them talking about it and the students being pissed for thinking of favoritism or any conflicts that might arise if we broke up. Just give it a try later.

A teacher (or TA) relationship is unethical. I wouldn't spend anymore time on this man, it's not fair to him. He will lose his job, if not his career so let him be.
