You need speed to achieve non-gravity. Those people at NASA are not in a room, they're in a plane way up in the stratosphere going faster than the speed of sound.

First of all, there is gravity on the moon. It's just 1/8 of what it is on Earth. The moon's gravity is so low that it cannot hold an atmosphere down, making it a vacuum.
To train astronauts to work in no gravity situations, NASA either takes them up in the "Vomit Comet" or has them do missions in a big swimming pool.
To test equipment for how it works in a vaccum, like in space or on the moon, NASA puts the equipment in a canister and sucks the air out of it, creating a vacuum.

Smog/pollution is what's taken out of the air to make you weightless. You know how much lead weighs, right? Imagine TONS of it in the form of air-born pollution, pushing your body downward. This constant downward pressure is what keeps us from achieving our true height... 15 feet tall for men, 12 feet for women. Goliath of the Bible was actually SHORT and was teased mercilessly by his family that lived atop Mt. Olympus where the air was cleaner.
Many reknowned scholars, such as myself, hold to the theory that the dinosaurs simply 'floated' away rather than being wiped out by a giant killer meteor. That's right, the dinosaurs died because they simply flew away... their decomposed bodies formed the moon that we see today. Those with opposable thumbs were able to survive by holding onto a rock or tree branch.
Test this theory for yourself. Take a day off and climb Mt. Everest. The higher you climb, (the less smog there will be) and the more 'light-headed' you'll feel. This is the first sign you are becoming 'airborn', just like the dinosaurs.
Sadly, the amount of pollution in the air keeps those living today from flying anymore. This is why NASA's non-gravity room atmosphere must be constantly cleansed. How? By over 5,000 Dyson vacuum cleaners with HEPA filtration, encased within the room's walls, floor and ceiling. Some "scholars" believe weightlessness cannot exist on Earth and that the Dyson vacuum cleaners are merely 'sucking' the astronauts into a state of suspension....
The scientific community remains split on this issue.
Hope this helped.
:)

Newton came up with the idea that the Earth must attract the apple towards it with some ``unseen force''. He named this force
GRAVITY....This force of gravity shapes the entire universe we live in.
lunar gravity is much lighter than that of the earth's gravity. That is why we see astronauts JUMPING on the moon and have to wear weighted suits..Because the moon has less mass than the Earth, it has a smaller gravitational effect. On the surface of the moon, the level of gravity is only about one-sixth of that on Earth. A person who weighs 100 pounds on Earth would weigh only 17 pounds if they stood on a scale on the moon.
Now.. IN SPACE...The effect of gravity extends from each object, indefinitely into space in all directions. The strength of the gravitational force reduces quickly with distance from any object such as Earth... the moon.. etc

You can't take anything out of the air to make it "lose gravity." At NASA they put astronauts into airplanes and send them into free fall, which is as close to no gravity as we can get. For land training, they use pools because the bouncy of the water helps off-set gravity.

You need empty Jumbo Jet which fly more than 17000 m and dive at velocity equal or more than of earth gravity(9.81m/second)It will create anty gravity efect for a couple minutes inside the cabin(this usualy use by NASA for experiment)
