I think that is great. I know many who have done well. If not with school with life.
I always look forward to some of your comments and your poetry. I hope you continue on your fine course.

And no I don't think many think that-I hope that is not true.

I never believed that mexicans couldn't do great things. I believe that anyone rather it be black, Mexican, caucasian, chinese, or whatever can do anything great once they sat their mind to it. I myself being an African American feel that there has been a lot of racist type things on here. And plus I have accomplished many things also in school, but there's probably many people who feel that African Americans or any other minority probably can't accomplish the things I did, or you did.
So I get what you're saying. I think you've done great things. And many more Mexicans or African Americans, or other races can also do those great things if not greater.

Friend, congratulations on your great accomplishments, it appears you have the ability and desire to do great things.

It also appears you have a very strong grasp of the English language. Trust me, it is not that Americans are racist and think that everyone else is inferior. When people bash others it is normally either one of two reasons.

1)They are in the minority group of people that actually are racist bigots, and are just talking out of their bum, and spewing hate. This small group (like islamo fascists) are the the ones that give the majority a bad name. Or...

2)Americans that are very upset and offended at the whole immigration issue as a whole right now. The problem is not immigrants, it is illegal immigrants. America is made up of immigrants, and it can be really offensive to people whose ancestors sacrificed everything and came over legally to give their children and grand children the opportunity at a better life, to see children in American schools pledging allegiance to the American flag, and demonstrations in the street waving the Mexican and Cuban and Guatemalan etc. flags. This is especially the case since Americans don't really riot and demonstrate like much of the world. We instead go to the great jobs we have and concentrate on earning a good living and taking care of our families.

Anywhoo, there is plenty more to be written on the subject, just know that basically Americans welcome anyone who wants to come to America to be an American. Godspeed in your journey of life.

I know for a fact that some Mexicans are good people. Unfortunately, illegal aliens are NOT good people because they have no respect for American law and are here to be parasites.

I know you come to this website trying to defend Mexicans, but you need to realize that a large percentage of Mexicans in America are NOT good people.

By the way, Sergio, honers is not a word. It's spelled honors.

Yes, seeing that there don't seem to be too many combined men and women vs. entire races, which offers them a few area of expertise. Many men and women like what they are now not consistently uncovered with. Half Asian / Half White I might have got to say is probably the most beautiful.

I will probably get booed for this one but who cares I am taliking to you, mexican people just deserve a chance like everyone else that america has welcomed with arms wide open, why fuss about the spanish people being over here. they will work, people claim they cant find jobs because of them, I find this offensive they uaually take the jobs no one else wants, and has been there for americans forever, I do not understand the big deal with it, all other cultures are here too, I am an american spanish people can learn in school and not take a job no one wants too, good for you. I love spanish people. keep going the sky is the limit for you my friend

You will get no argument from me, Sergio.

I welcome all immigrants, because they do wonderful things for our country.

The current wave of anti-immigrant sentiment has been experienced before in our country by other groups of immigrants. During the Irish potato famine, millions of Irish people came to the US, and there was a huge wave of anti-Irish sentiment. There were all sorts of stories circulated about them which could be boiled down to a few nonsense arguments including: they are all drunks, they are all lazy, they are just here to sponge off of hard working Americans. We know now that this is not the case, don't we? They have been assimilated into our culture, and the US is still the same place.

During the early 20th Century, there was another great wave of immigration. The people that came from Eastern Europe and from Italy were particularly numerous, and there were also a lot of people who were entirely opposed to them coming. The reasons? They are lazy and they will drain the US of resources which should be saved for Americans. (There's a pattern here, isn't there?) Now they are all assimilated, and we know that they contribute to the greatness of our country, rather than diminish it.

My only hope is that eventually people will stop saying ridiculous things about Mexican and Latin American immigrants. History has shown us that it's beneficial, not harmful for the US when new people choose to make the US their home. The huge numbers of people who come seeking a better way of life, and who are willing to work very hard to achieve it, far outnumber those few who come looking for a handout. We Americans need to stop being so silly about it and be realistic instead. People are going to come. We simply need to make a place for them at the table, and allow them to make their contributions so that our country continues to flourish and grow.

Well, guess what? I do believe anybody can do great things. Do you know why I support the ones who can do great things?

It's because I don't care if they are Mexican or not.

I know for a fact, that Mexicans are capable of great things. There are many Mexican-American doctors, lawyers, there's actresses and actors that are Mexican. My boss is a female Mexican-American engineer, who's supervises a lot of white, arab, and asian engineers and they highly respect her. Oh and the Mayor of L.A. and Lt. Governor of California are Mexican-American, and these racist idiots were so jealous of their success that they started getting death threats, you know they can't stand to see a Mexican being successful
