It has been proven fraudulent in as much as it is not possible to take their "personality test" and not NEED their "services".
If anyone reads Hubbard's fiction, he was slightly better than mediocre and announced that the ONLY way to make real money was to start a religion.

I have no idea why it's still around. You'd think most people would've figured out by now that it's a cult, and a greedy one at that.
And I know, I KNOW! He says "hey, religion makes money... things that make you go hmmm".... and then he COMES UP WITH HIS OWN RELIGION! UH DOY!
I swear, some people will buy into just about anything if it promises fullfillment and a brand new lease on life... and then the brainwashing convinces them that they've received just that. But it is STILL brainwashing and it is STILL a cult.

Sorry but Scientology is a Super Movement that is taking the planet by storm. The place of greater expansion for Scientology is now Asia and they have opened Missions in Nepal, Sri Lanka and India. Taiwan and Japan can keep up with the demand. In Japan the movement is on fire.
I don't know were are you getting your information but Scientology works. Scientology technology saved my daughter when she was in a coma for 2 weeks. I have seen it help many members of my family and friends. And it does increase IQ, that's fact all Scientologist that I know now have a greater IQ than when they were in High School. Scientology is only 40 years old. Christianity is 2000 years old and Buddhism is 2500 years old. In a hundred years Scientology will be the size of any other mayor religion if it keeps growing at this rate. The bottom line is that Scientology works and that's why is growing.

People will believe anything. So I guess if a bunch of dumba**es want to be swindled out of huge amounts of $$ to believe science fiction and fall into a scam allrighty then. It does provide some entertainment for the sane viewers at home.
