I only used sugar in tea. Don't drink coffee as a rule, in fact, very rarely if my husband brews a li'l too much I might finish it... but yes, I would put sugar in it. We went to using ONLY Splenda in our house if we needed sugar for anything. My body can't handle NutraSweet or especially that nasty Sweet n Low... but the Splenda doesn't use the aspartame and has no gross aftertaste so I'm good with that. I use much less of it than I ever did white sugar, and I'm sure if I really set my mind to it, I could just cut it out completely... but I feel punished enough having quit smoking a few years back and now having to diet (partly as a result of quitting).
