You choose to get over it and every moment you choose not to, you choose to think of what you're missing out on by wasting your time and your thoughts on someone else.
If I could go back to high school now.. I would never dwell on that cute guy that blew me off for another girl. I would have just kept moving forward. I realize now that God has a perfect plan and when things don't work out - it's for a reason. The best part is, God always has MORE planned for us than we have planned for ourselves.

Okay, you can either roll with it and be supportive...wait for dude to cheat on her and ignore her after he gets bored with her...talk her into getting with you......or you can just be straight up...show her that you're the better man...dress better, excel in sports and academics...date other girls and get her jealous while letting her know that I wanted to be with you.....dude, high school rocks....I used to sit at the lunch table with majorettes and cheerleaders ...a year before that, I was a total nobody...amazing what a little bench pressing, a updated wardrobe, and a fresh haircut will do for you as well as running track and playing football.

Try to win her over. Do stuff for her that will make her notice you and see what a loser her boyfriend now is. Show her that you have feelings for her, and do what it takes to get her eyes on you and off of him. Buy her roses and type them to her locker. Try something sweet, but not corny.

there is a time for everything. (it;s in the bible too)
the girl might break up in a yr and then you can be that shoulder to cry on ? and maybe in the future get together? i;d say not too quick tho or she;ll think your taking advantage of her.
in the mean time. think of it this way
God has someone better for you, it just isnt his time yet
cheers

i'm in sort of the same predicament .. one option is to talk to the girl and tell her how you feel and than ask her to not tell her boyfriend and than move on with life. or you can just not tell her and try to forget all about it. OR you can ask her out anyways and tell her to ditch her boyfriend. i asked a girl to homecoming who had a boyfriend =O
