I have Cloud, Tifa and Red, all on level 89 with 9999 HP and 999 MP, ultimate weapons and limits. I just fought Emerald Weapon for at least 15 minutes, and I cast KOTR 4 times (W-summon with Mime), Ultima at LEAST 25 times (I have it on the Quad Magic with a Mime on someone else!), Bahamut 3 times, Bahamut Zero 4 times, an Omnislash, and my people had Regen and Wall up the entire time. I used my Final Attack-Phoenix combo twice (as Cloud died) and then Weapon did something that took 9999 from everyone. How is it possible to beat this thing if it can kill you down from full health? What am I missing?

This is the weapon in the water. i do have underwater materia.

i cant barely remember but i think it has a weakness for just 1 thing...maybe the wind weapon, ya know its the summons that you get near the start, its a yellow bird type thing...im not sure tho,its hard to think back....i remember i had some magic that you could cast and it would tell you the hp of the enemy and sometimes what they were weak against...have you got that??

Goodness, it's been a few years since I've played but I certainly know it's not easy! For Emerald Weapon, you really should try to get the round table materia, but you don't want to use it with Ruby Weapon. If I remember right, Ruby will knock out any character that uses it. And I don't mean kill them, I mean it swings around and knocks them right out of the fight. Have a lot of (turbo!) ethers, elixirs and remedies on hand and regen materia, and a whole ton of patience! You also want a few master materia. Going into any of the weapon fights without a few masters is going to get you killed. I believe you can also cast daze on Ruby. Cloud's final limit break will also save you in this (get it at the Gold Saucer). but mostly, patience. Hmmm... I'm really not much help in this, am I?

when you go in, make sure only one is alive. protect him through the first attack, then res. something along those lines. god, it has been a long time.
