i think an ion straightener is best because it keeps the moistuer in your hair so your hair doesnt dry out and feel like straw

I use the Helen of Troy Gold Series, and it works like a charm. I have naturally curly hair, and yet it's able to straighten my hair. I bought mine at Sally's Beauty Supply, and it's available online also.

I also have wavy hair. I just bought "Jibere", I bought it at Sallys Beauty Supply Store, they are nationwide..... I love it, a lot of controls to adjust heat, I also bought their curling iron and hot rollers....... Enjoy.

Wavy is VERY VERY nice, better than straight hair I think. Full wavy natural hair, very very long, I could crawl in there and get lost, fall asleep and die.

OK you are going to have to give up more information. Let's just cut straight to the chase, are we talking about black hair (African American) or not? I only ask because I want to provide you with the best information possible.
