i currently have 10 piercings...and i'm strangely curious and afraid of getting a genital piercing. afraid, as in losing sensitivity. i love my sensitivity 'down there' and would love to enhance but NOT lose feeling (as in mistake or over-time). is there any horror and/or victory stories out there that could help me make my decision? also, vertical or horizontal?

I don't have one although I have seriously toyed with the idea. Check out the personal experiences section at www.tribalectic.com and go from there.
The piercing is supposed to enhance sensitivity, not decrease it. If you lose feeling, etc then the piercing was done incorrectly. Research it like you would for any other piercing. Ask the local piercer you plan to use what their experiences with it are.
Vertical vs horizontal is based on your anatomy, which the piercer will tell what you are best suited for. Most people have the horizontal for aesthetics only and the vertical for function.

ok no longer all persons are preteens answering this besides,i could inspect online and notice what's asserted approximately having it pierced.i myself does no longer do it yet i will understand why some do get it accomplished..good success with that

I don't know anyone who has had it done personally, I wouldn't do it. It might be more trouble than it's worth.
there's always the possibility of infection, loss of sensation etc....
