They tell you that they are about to serve the body and blood of Jesus, and then they pass around plates of crackers and grape juice. What a lie. I have tried to make human flesh taste like crackers, and have had no success. Why would these "nice" people lie to us common folk?

There are three main beliefs concerning Holy Communion, aka the Eucharist, aka the Mass

Likewise, when we take the Sacrament, we say "the Body and the Blood"; we remember what the elements resemble.

What denomination is your Grandma's church? Some churches believe that when the bread and wine are passed around that they actually become the body and blood of Jesus which they don't. The bread and wine, or crackers and grape juice in this case, only represent his body and blood. At the Last Supper when Jesus and the disciples ate the bread and drank the wine it was showing what was to come that being Jesus' death on the cross.
