I've been in a vehicle before with a woman that was driving and got pulled over. She immediatly started to cry. That crap actually worked too. I was wondering what are some methods you women do and how often do they work. Flirting, crying, flashing ect. Examples would be nice too.

Kobaker.......I didn't ask what men do because I have never been in a vehicle where a man has cried to a cop before. Frankly, I really don't care either what men do to get out of a ticket. I'm sure your upset because you didn't get to answer "well this one time i sucked off this cop to get out of it". Maybe you can ask the question if you are so interested.

Cheers.

It's usually because of my own carelessness ( I get to thinking about something else and then forget to keep my speed in check), so when I've been pulled over, it's usually because I deserved it. I just try to be as polite as possible and have often, inadvertantly, said "Thank you," when the whole ticket-writing process is over.

One of the times, though, that I was pulled over, I had been asked for my insurance. While shuffling through my messy truck to look for it, I nervously made small-talk saying, "Well, you know, insurance is just for car accidents and tickets, . " Finally, I found the envelope that had the insurance papers in it... it was still unopened from the day I had received the new (the next 6 mos.) ins. card. I opened the envelope in the presence of the officer and we both looked at the card. My heart sank because that card had expired at the end of the past month. I told him that I did have the new papers (and I DID.. they were in another unopened envelope on the table... at home), but I must've grabbed the wrong envelope to stick back out in the car...

The officer was laughing and smiling and said not to worry... he was only giving me a warning. I was stunned and DID say "Thank you." But I have no idea, to this day, what was so humorous and why I got off with a warning.

Humph. I actually cried twice at two different stops. I had a very good reason each time; I wasn't just trying to manipulate the cops (my gramma was dying and I was on my way to visit her the first time, and the second, I was suffering from bad depression and that was just another in a long, long list of things that had gone wrong). Both times, I was sincerely, badly crying, and both times, I got the frocking tickets. In fact, the only time I got out of it, the cop noticed I was from Pittsburgh (I was in Iowa) and started chatting about football with me. I could barely keep up, I was so nervous and upset, but I remained calm, said something about yay, Steelers!, and was let off. I suspect that only happened because it wasn't a real stop; he was just checking for insurance.

I'm not a female, but nothing helped the women to get out of a ticket.
As a former police officer for 10 years I never gave anyone a warning. They were all the pink copies.
They flirted,they cried,showed me legs,cleavage etc....
I just kept writing the ticket.
In all those years nobody ever contested the ticket and never had to go to court on the citations I ever issued !

I stopped a car doing 45 in a 30 one afternoon and after I had her license & registration, the woman driving asked "What do you think of these?" and pulled the top of her tank out, exposing her breasts. I handed her papers back to her and walked away because there was just no way to give her a ticket without her making a complaint. I'm not advocating that type of behavior because my partner wanted to lock her up and it was all I could do to convince her to let the woman go.

Well, once a cop asked me to flash him and simply took the ticket and reported the incident to his capt, he was fired and my tickedt dismissed. However, once I go pulled over for running a stop sign that did not exist. I told the deputy to write me the ticket and say exactly what sign I had run. I then proceeded to the sheriff's office and showed him. Ticket was torn up immediately. Just be respectful and don't ever cry.. they hate that.

I use to own a restaurant , where the state police were frequent customers, and became aquaintences.
They told me stuff. First, whenever you get pulled over, put your hands clearly on the top part of the steering wheel. They never know if someones hands are grabbing a gun or weapon, and seeing both your hands, puts them at ease.
Most don't fall for the crying ****. They've heard it all.
Just be respectful, tell them you didn't realize that you were speeding , or whatever, and smile. Try to smile sincerely, they are used to every lie and act in the book. Its refreshing for them if someone is sincere and honest.

I was honest, tactful, and showed remorse because I knew he pulled me over for a good reason. I have never once pulled the crying/flirting crap purely out of dignity. Being in uniform helps as well!

It's been so long I can't remember when I last got pulled over. I just give the cop what he asks for & tell him I'm sorry I didn't know I was doing anything wrong.
Or I ask the cop, "Was I doing something wrong?"

Yup.. Crying works. With the younger guys, especially. Sometimes even promising you'll never do it again...

I have to admit that wearing my Girl Scout leader pins saved me once. Cops actually like programs like that. They wearing my state emploee id helped another time...
