Why is it my responsibility to pay so much money to the government so that lazy people who do not work can get an Entitlement Check each month, get free health care etc......any thoughts?

You and me too, I hate this. The bible says...if you don't work ---you shouldn't be able to eat...so, With that, I think that these leaches should have to be put out in a boat to paddle up stream. Really some people just feel others are responsible for their happiness. Isn't that crazy but they do! Go figure. I think our gov. is just set up to help the poor no matter whether they try or not. Probably they are mentally incompetent to help themselves, and we should feel sorry for them. Why don't I?

That's being very general. You need to be more specific. Who is us? Are the only people working right now the honest ones? If you can't work you are not honest? Are all people who collect these checks you speak of are lazy? How do you know this or are you just being general?

Well, I once used govt. aid, but I did not stay on it. It was a temporay thing until I found another job, but it has a purpose in society. But there are those people that live off it for many years, and that is wrong and needs to be fixed. The govt must push the people to get out and look for work, and get off the free ride!! There should be some kind of limits......

We are making a small difference.
However, more and more people are needing the governments help.
Where the help should be coming from is in the local churches of every community.
