Couple of the pins on the connector are bent and can't get into small space to straighten them. Cable connects inside monitor somehow - how would one replace it??

You may need to get an electrician to do a new connection into the monitor. That nasty wire isn't easily replaceable even after so many years of computing.

If the pins are on the connector cable, buy a new one. If the bent pins are in the socket on the monitor, you can get it replaced by a technician.

het a replacement cable and open ur monitor... its an easy install.

you can cut the cable and get a new connector and just match all the wires and tape it.

The best answer is to get a new cable and open ur monitor.

Buy a new one. They are pretty inexpensive and you can get one at any computer store (compUsa, best buy etc.). Just bring the cable, know the brand and model number of the moniter/computer.
