I've been trying to figure out the best way to export music from my gameboy ds lite into the computer. I've tried using a 1/4" audio cable to connect the headset from the gameboy to the microphone port of the computer, but I can never seem to get enough volume out of the puppy. I have a microphone but it doesn't seem sensitive enough to pick up on the gameboy speakers sound output at highest volume either. Recommendations and any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks.

use a usb sound card. or a soundcard that is recording digitally, not analog. record it as a .wav file, and then boost the levels how you like, and convert to whatever. check download.com, there are ways for you to get free software that lets you record anything passing through your sound card. i have a sitecom cheapy soundcard, and the software it comes with allows you to do this.
